I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Odie

We're happy to tell you that Odie has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Odie was rescued from a laboratory setting at a vet school in South Korea. We do not know what kind of testing but we do know Odie was in the internal medicine department at the vet school, along with Quinn, Richie and Crete. Odie is friendly with people and other beagles. He currently is in a shelter environment waiting to fly to Seattle hopefully on March 3rd. As with many laboratory release beagles, Odie has had no housetraining yet and it could take longer than normal to housetrain. He was probably living in a metal cage for quite some time and therefore has no idea where to pee and poo, or where not to do that. He will learn and get there with patience and another confident resident dog to show him the way. From our past experience, laboratory beagles learn from other dogs so Odie really needs another confidant resident dog in the home and preferably a fenced yard. We have no information on his interaction with kids at this point. He may startle easily with younger kids how like to run around, move quickly and sometimes loudly. Older kids would be preferable for Odie. He would love to join your family so fill out an application to learn more!
