This super cute calm handsome fella has been through a lot over during his time St. Louis. From the story our foster was told his "owner" was trying to find someone to take him for the night because they didn’t have a pet deposit. The foster has since learned that person has posted other pets begging for folks to cover a pet deposit as well and the pet always ends up dumped. A good samaritan picked up Hank for the night then tried to return him to the original owner and they said no. Poor Hank then ended up being found at Walmart soaking wet. It’s unclear if the original owner or the overnight person dumped him but either way Hank found himself in a predicament and needed a reputable rescue to help him along his journey. So Seattle Beagle Rescue stepped in to give Hank the life he deserves! Thank you to our amazing foster in St Louis for taking care of Hank. 
 
On 6/12 Hank went to the vet and got his initial vaccines and heartworm test (negative - Yahoo!). He did come back as Ehrilichia positive but is on medication to clear that up. Vet estimated 2 years old and he is currently 33.2 pounds.  The foster says he’s a super good boy, very sweet, super snuggler & walks well on a leash! He is good with all dogs of all sizes he’s met, but he is unknown about cats and kids.
 
 
Hank is scheduled for his neuter 6/26 at which point he’ll be fully vetted and ready to find his new family in the PNW! Could that be you?
