This lovely lady is looking for a home.
Terra, a 31 pound, 5 year old beagle is currently in South Korea. She has a flight offer for Oct 5, but will need a foster or foster to adopt before we can bring her. Terra has a lot of energy, so she enjoys running during walks and loves sniffing the grass. Occasionally, she even nibbles on it. When encountering other dogs, she is uncertain and may bark and be reactive. She has a curious and free-spirited nature. Terra is very friendly with strangers and doesn’t run away or get scared. She has an active personality, enjoys jumping up to greet people, loves to cuddle, and has a playful nature. Terra generally gets along well with other dogs, but if something displeases her, she may show slight reactivity. She has a strong personality and is not easily intimidated, even among stronger dogs. Due to her dominant nature, caution is needed when introducing her to other dogs. Terra does not show signs of separation anxiety. On the contrary, she seems comfortable and relaxed when alone and is often seen resting peacefully. She has excellent focus and enjoys playing by herself, especially with nose work toys filled with treats. Terra doesn’t bark much, but she tends to bark more when other dogs come close to her kennel or when she encounters other dogs during walks. So it seems that Terra can live with other dogs with a good introduction but would likely do best as the only dog in the home.
