Nine year old Danji is currently in a foster home in South Korea. We are hoping for a flight volunteer to help her travel to Seattle, but sadly travel volunteers at this time are hard to find. If you are able to open your heart to Danji and patiently hang in there for her to fly, you will be so blessed with a sweet girl.
Danji sounds like such a sweet and loving dog who really deserves a comfortable, loving home. Despite her health challenges and age, her affectionate nature and calm demeanor shine through. The fact that she’s always the first to greet people and loves being around them speaks to how social and warm-hearted she is. As a stray picked up by animal control that no one came to claim, due to her age, she was put on the euthanasia list so our rescue partner quickly took her in. She is a lucky girl who just wants a quiet warm loving family.
Her heartworm has been treated and cleared. Danji takes daily meds for mild hypertension. She’s leash trained and good with other beagles. She will to be a lovely companion for someone who can give her the care she needs, with daily meds, and a diet and exercise to keep her at her ideal weight. She has an occasional cough caused by the previous heartworm infection.
Danji is up to date on core vaccines, spayed and microchipped. How do you feel about adopting a senior dog like Danji?
