Meet Riggins – A Loyal, Playful Gentleman Looking for a New Family to Love

Riggins is an absolutely wonderful 10 year old beagle searching for a new family to call his own.  His current family loves him but no longer has the time for him that he deserves.   Riggins is a loving companion who will bring warmth, laughter, and a gentle energy to any home lucky enough to welcome him. With excellent house manners and a playful spirit, Riggins is the perfect blend of maturity and fun.

Riggins is a very healthy, active, and young ten year old.  His favorite activity is playing fetch with a ball, and he will want to keep at it for some time.  But he also likes to rip apart balls and anything with a squeaker, so he should never have unmonitored access to them, or something might get swallowed.  He would love a big, fenced yard and a dog pal to run around with.  He also would get along well with dog-savy kids.

Like most beagles, Riggins is a foodie at heart - he loves treats!  And he is very clever when it comes to sniffing out snacks.  He would be happy to explore the kitchen trash can if given the opportunity. 

A quieter neighborhood would be best for Riggins, as he does not seem to understand the dangers of traffic.  Car rides can be a little stressful for him too, especially long ones.  A bit of whining and drooling are not uncommon.   

Riggins weighs in at 30 lbs, is current with all vaccinations, and is spayed.  We do not know how he would be with cats or other small animals. 

Riggins is looking for a family that will appreciate his zest for life and his loving heart. Transitioning may be hard initially, but with time and patience, he will once again be the loving, spirited dog that he has been with his first family.  If you have room in your home and your heart for a loyal best friend, Riggins just might be your perfect match.
