⨠About Hazelnut:
Approx. 5 years old
Heartworm negative
Previously treated for ehrlichiosis
House trained and crate trained
Great with kids ā especially gentle with the volunteerās 9-year-old daughter
Great with other dogs
Sweet, calm, and affectionate nature
Hazelnut still needs his vaccines and to be neutered before traveling to Seattle, but otherwise heās doing wonderfully. The only quirk his foster has noticed is that he likely never lived in a home beforeāso if food is within reach, he may try to help himself! With a little training and supervision around mealtime, this is easily manageable.
Aside from that, Hazelnut is truly a gem. Heās loving, gentle, and ready to give his whole heart to a family who will love him back.

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect ā they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
