I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Honey

Meet Honey 🍯🐶

Honey is a sweet little beagle girl with a gentle spirit who has already shown just how resilient she is. On January 1st, Honey was unfortunately hit by a car, but some kind-hearted people stepped in to help, getting her safely secured and taken to a local vet. She remained on crate rest there until February 1st, when she was able to move to one of our wonderful foster homes.

Since arriving in foster care, Honey has been resting comfortably and adjusting to all the recent changes while waiting for further medical evaluation. On February 10th, she visited the vet for a new set of X-rays because the original images didn’t provide enough information. The updated X-rays showed that Honey still has quite a road ahead, and the veterinary team is continuing to determine the best course of treatment for her leg/hip fracture.

Honey is estimated by the vet to be about 7 years old and weighs 24.8 pounds. Despite everything she’s been through, she remains an incredibly sweet and gentle little girl, and thankfully she has tested negative on her 4DX test.

As more information becomes available about Honey’s injury and the treatment plan, we will continue to update her profile. In the meantime, she’s receiving lots of love, comfort, and care while she heals.

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
