Meet Caramel 🐶
Caramel is a sweet young beagle girl who is estimated to be about 18 months old and weighs 21 pounds. She was rescued from a hoarding situation, and while she is safe now and beginning her new journey, she will need a patient and understanding home as she learns what life as a loved family member is all about.
Caramel has tested negative for heartworm and has already received her initial vaccines. Before traveling, she will be spayed, microchipped, and receive her booster vaccines, and she is expected to be ready for transport to Seattle at the end of March.
Because of her background, Caramel will do best in a home with another confident dog who can help guide her and build her confidence. A lovely yard where she can safely explore and continue adjusting to her new world would be ideal.
Caramel is currently being cared for by a wonderful foster in the Midwest, and as we learn more about her personality and progress, we will be sure to share updates to her profile.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
