Meet Pip 💛🐾
Pip’s story is still unfolding, but one thing is already clear — this little lady has a whole lot of love left to give.
We were told Pip was dumped with a good Samaritan and seems to have been a house dog. While some details are still being confirmed, here’s what we do know so far:
✨ Approximately 10 years old
✨ Spayed and microchipped
✨ 17.7 lbs of happy little energy
✨ Heartworm negative
✨ Fecal test negative (yahoo!)
✨ Initial vaccines completed
✨ Confirmed by the vet to be in the senior range, but still full of life
There are rumors that Pip was hit by a car a couple years ago and underwent hip surgery. And her personality? Absolutely delightful.
Pip is not a big beagle — she’s a compact little ray of sunshine. She has bursts of playful, happy energy and then settles right into being a super chill companion. At her vet visit, she also appeared to do well with the clinic’s mascot cat.
Most importantly, Pip seems ready to be someone’s beloved house dog again. Stay tuned for more updates on this sweet girl as we learn more about her and help her start her next chapter. 🐶💕
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
