Meet Gunner! ❤️

Gunner is a gentle senior boy looking for a fresh start after unexpectedly losing the only home he knew. Due to an allergy in a new family member, his family decided to surrender him. With time running out, we knew we had to step in—because no senior dog deserves to spend their golden years in a shelter.

Gunner is now safe with our wonderful foster in Missouri, where we will better get to know his personality. One thing we already know? He is an incredibly sweet, easygoing companion. During his transport from the shelter, Gunner earned the title of best co-pilot, riding calmly and happily by his person's side. He's the kind of dog who simply enjoys being with his people.

As Gunner settles into foster care, we'll continue updating his profile with more information about his personality, likes, and the type of home where he'll thrive.

Gunner, 33.5lbs, is neutered and current on all of his vaccinations. Before making the journey to Seattle, he will receive a heartworm test and a fecal test to ensure he's healthy and ready for his next chapter.
