Meet Lily Rose, a 6-year-old, 25.8-lb Beagle with a gentle heart and so much love to give. ❤️

Lily Rose was believed to be the mama of puppies born on May 25th, but during her recent spay, there were indications that she may not actually be their mother. An estrogen confirmatory test is being done to determine whether Lily Rose is, in fact, the mom.

Sadly, Lily Rose’s owner passed away, and she is now being cared for by a wonderful foster in St. Louis. She has been an inside dog for the past two years and is doing beautifully in her foster home.

Lily Rose is a total sweetheart who loves cuddles and being close to her person. She would happily share your pillow and soak up all the affection you are willing to give. She is great with kids, dog friendly, and seems to do well around neighborhood cats.

There is one very important exception: NO CHICKENS. Lily Rose seems to have a particular interest in stopping that squeaking! 🐔

Lily Rose has tested negative for heartworm, Lyme disease, and ehrlichiosis. She will get a microchip, booster vaccines and fecal test before moving to Seattle. She is ready to start the next chapter of her life with a family who will love and cherish her.

Because she is a Beagle, Lily Rose comes with that famous Beagle nose! She has been known to scale a fence and go exploring when her nose leads the way. For her safety, a super-secure fence is an absolute must. No chain-link or horizontal-slat fencing will work for this determined little explorer. Her forever family will need to be committed to keeping her safely contained.

Lily Rose has already been through a lot. She lost her owner and is now looking for someone who will give her the security, patience, affection, and forever home she deserves. She is sweet, loving, cuddly, and ready to be someone's beloved companion. ❤️
