Meet Alvin 🐾💛

Alvin is just beginning his journey toward the good life at about 1 yr old, and we’re so grateful he got a second chance.

Alvin came from a breeder auction, where his future was uncertain. Dogs from these situations can often end up back in commercial breeding programs or even laboratory testing environments, so we feel incredibly lucky to be able to help Alvin find the happy, loving life he deserves instead.

We are still getting to know his personality, but so far Alvin has shown himself to be a sweet and gentle little guy with some adorable quirks. He enjoys sleeping under the kitchen table, loves a good head rub, and has developed a fascination with plastic bags — which, of course, should NEVER actually be used as toys. He’s a bit more aloof than some beagles, quietly taking in the world around him at his own pace.

Alvin will be arriving in early June and heading into a foster home, where we’ll learn much more about his personality, routines, and what type of forever home will suit him best. As he settles in, we’ll continue sharing updates on this handsome boy and his progress.

For now, we’re simply happy Alvin’s story is heading somewhere brighter. 🐶✨

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
