I'm ready for my new family!

This handsome beagle boy has had a bit of a rough start but is ready to find his forever home with someone who can give him the love, patience, and understanding he deserves.

Recently, Billy had an unexpected health issue with infected anal glands, which led to some pain and discomfort. This was likely the cause of a few incidents where he reacted by biting, especially if someone got too close to his behind. Now that he’s been treated, and after a thorough vet check-up, we’re hopeful that his behavior was a response to the pain he was experiencing. However, because we can’t be 100% certain, we want to be upfront about his history.

Billy does have a mild tendency to guard his food, and he’s currently in a two-week training program to help him feel more secure and comfortable. We would ask that foster, or foster to adopter meet with the trainer as well.
