I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Bunny

I'm Available

NOTE: Bunny MUST have another similar sized dog in the home, a yard to play in and Female only household. No condos/apartments.

Bunny came from a breeder in the Midwest and has been luckily rescued looking for her retirement home to lay around, relax, get lots of love and just be a family member. She has some fear of hands coming at her so does her pancake stance as many puppy mill dogs will do. Sadly this probably comes from her time as a breeding female in a large facility. Once she overcomes that initial fear she shows she does love pets and scratches.

She loves those soft plush toys but unsure about the squeaky noise they make. All toys seem to end up in the yard when Bunny is around. 😁 As a typical beagle, she can be vocal when she gets the scent of a squirrel who may have been in the yard. Speaking of yards, Bunny needs a home with a fenced yard as she loves being outside and prefers it when she can wandering around as she likes. She is potty trained. At night she likes to sleep on a comfy couch, favorite dog bed or sometimes curled up by a human in bed. She is a beagle so she loves meal time and snacks are a great way to help her open up to people.

She’s still timid and fearful but will participate in activities when she feels comfortable with her human -eating, playing and cuddles. She is so sweet! She would prefer a human female only adult home as she can be scared of men.

Bunny currently is living with 3 boy beagles. She loves sleeping by them and playing chase in the house or yard. Since she is still timid she must have another dog of similar size in her new home. She needs that companionship.

She was spayed 12/30/24 and had a cherry eye fixed. She had a seizure early December and January,. She made it through to May before having more seizures, so now she is on a medication every 12 hours. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Can Bunny become part of your family? She has had a hard life so far at only 5.
