I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Bunny

I'm Available

Bunny, came from a breeder in the Midwest and has been luckily rescued looking for her retirement home to lay around, relax, get lots of love and just be a family member. She had some fear of hands coming at her and will cry. Sadly this probably comes from her time as a breeding female in a large facility. Once she overcomes that initial fear she shows she does love pets and scratches. She loves to chew on harder toys/bones but really isn't sure about those soft plush toys yet. She is crate trained and potty trained. At nights she will sleep in her crate on her dog bed. She is a messy eater, so be ready to give her a place mat at meal time.

Bunny's current foster says she is doing fine. She’s very timid and fearful but fully participates in all activities-eating, walks and cuddles. She is so sweet! She needs a human female adult in her home as she can be a bit scared of men when they are up walking around, but is okay with petting by the human male when he is sitting. As Bunny as started to relax and feel safe she has started being a little protective towards the resident dog of her human female. For this reason Bunny would be best as an only dog in the home with maybe some play dates that don't involve couch cuddles.

She was spayed 12/30/24 and had a cherry eye fixed. She had a seizure early December and January, but is doing well. She requires no medication at this time for seizures. She had a large fatty growth  removed in January. She is microchipped and up to date on her vaccines. Can Bunny become part of your family? She has hard life so far at only
