🐾 Meet Cashew – Your Sweet, Snuggly Sidekick! 🐾
Cashew is a tiny beagle with a big heart who weighs about 10 pounds and absolutely loves to cuddle. She was found as a stray in West Virginia with another beagle, Brady, and is now on her way to Seattle where she’ll be ready for her forever family. Cashew is affectionate and happiest when she’s close to her people. She can be a bit scared in the car, but she rode well on her trip to the vet and is becoming more confident every day. She does well with other dogs and is good with kids too. While she hasn’t been thoroughly tested with cats, she doesn’t react to stray cats she’s seen in the neighborhood.
When Cashew needs to go outside to potty she will pace and let you know, and she will scratch at the door to come back inside. She’ll need a securely fenced yard because she’s so small that she might find ways to squeeze out through wide fence or gate spacing.
Cashew is up to date on her vaccines, microchipped, and dewormed, and she tested negative for heartworm. She did test positive for Lyme disease and has already started treatment for that. Because she’s not yet spayed, she will need to be spayed upon arrival in Seattle before she can complete her adoption process.
After her rough start, Cashew is more than ready to trade stray life for soft beds, warm laps, and a loving family to call her own. If you’re looking for a gentle, cuddly companion who will be by your side through it all, Cashew might just be your perfect match. 💛🐶

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
