Charlie (Charlotte) is a 35 pound 1 and 1/2 to 2 year old beagle mix. Charlie was found in Mississippi. She was left behind when her family moved, and roamed the neighborhood for weeks before a kind neighbor took her in. That generous person paid for Charlie’s vetting and reached out to rescue for help, unable to keep Charlie because she already had multiple dogs in her home.
Charlie is sweet and affectionate with people. When first introduced to her current foster home, Charlie was a bit reactive to the other dogs, however given time to settle in and good introductions she now fits right in and plays. Charlie is best suited to dogs her size or larger. She appears house-trained and displays no separation anxiety.
Charlie would be fine as an only pet with lots of people interaction and exercise.
Charlie is generally a quiet dog. She will bark a hello when first meeting a new person or pet and then settles down.
