I've found my furever family!

PENDING ADOPTION!

Cruz is an 8-year-old, 30-pound neutered male looking for a loving home and a fresh start.

Cruz was surrendered by his hunter in Kentucky because he didn’t have the prey drive they were looking for. Thankfully, he went into a wonderful foster home where he has been given the chance to decompress, settle in, and show us who he really is.

Cruz is dog-friendly and kid-friendly, and he is almost completely housebroken. Since his neuter on September 24, he has had no accidents in his foster home, which is a wonderful sign as he continues adjusting to his new life. He is also vaccinated and heartworm negative.

Cruz will be coming to the Seattle area soon, where he will enter a foster home so we can learn even more about him—his personality, his favorite things, and what type of forever home will be the best fit for him.

As we get to know Cruz better, we’ll continue to update his profile. For now, we’re just excited that this sweet boy has been given a second chance and can look forward to finding the loving forever home he deserves. ❤️

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
