Eve was rescued, along with Ruby, from a terrible situation in rural Kentucky. It was so bad that the owner eventually went to jail. Eve is now happily learning about life with a foster in Virginia. She is being treated for pink eye but is otherwise completed vetted and will soon be spayed. Eve would love to be in a family with another dog to play with and to learn from. She is good with kids. She is unsure about cats and will bark at the foster’s cat whenever their paths cross. We are just starting to learn about this little girl and will add updates as we learn more about her personality.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
