I'm ready for my new family!

Freeda is such a sweet and gentle dog with a lot of love to give. Despite the tough start she had as a stray being left out in the cold with a collar that had one word written on it - FREE, it's clear that she's very affectionate and has settled in at her out-of-state foster home very well, especially with her calm and lazy nature. Her love for cuddling and lounging in soft spots is adorable, and it’s easy to see that she would thrive in a cozy, loving home where she can get plenty of attention. She is currently living with other dogs and doing well. Her foster currently works outside the home and Freeda seems to be fine without a human around during the day but she would probably love another dog friend, but we don't know if it is necessary.

With her being a stray, her age is a tough one. It was originally said by the person who found her that she was 5-6 yr sold, but at her vet exam the doctor thought more like 1 yr old, so we are going with that. Freeda got her vaccines updated, a microchip, negative fecal & heartworm test, her spay surgery and her cherry eye fixed. She did test positive for Ehrlichia but she’s already receiving treatment - all good signs for her long-term health. Now that she’s fully healed from surgery, she is ready to travel to Seattle when the temperatures warm up a bit and she’s going to make an excellent companion for someone.
