I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Hazel

We're happy to tell you that Hazel has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Hazel is about 3 years old and weighs approximately 25 lbs. Hazel was rescued from a kill pound in South Korea where she was picked up as reported as a stray. It's hard to know about her past but she was very thin when rescued. Who knows how long she was wandering outside alone. She is very friendly to people of all ages. She just wants to say hi to everyone she meets on walks as if she has known them forever. She is good on a leash but may pull a bit out of excitement...typical beagle. She shows no signs of resource guarding around food or toys. But she has great appetite like a typical beagle and wants to steal food if not supervised. Hazel is good with dogs. She was in an adoption center with several dogs and got along well with everyone. She was using pee pads inside the facility and also does her business outside when going for walks. It won't be too difficult to train her for housebreaking if the potential family takes her out on a regular routine. At the center where she stayed, they also have cats. Hazel did not seem to be very interested in them and ignored them when she saw the cats over the glass wall. But proper safe cat introduction is a must with any beagle.
