I've found my furever family!

Heilo is a sweet 6 year old, 28 pound, tri color male beagle. He was an owner surrender that came to us from a local shelter. He was not doing well in the shelter environment. Heilo has settled in and is happy in foster care. He has learned about leash walking and loves to cuddle and be close to his fosters. Heilo demonstrated some separation anxiety at first (howling and barking) but that has improved as he gains confidence. Heilo gets along with other dogs after a careful introduction and time to adjust, but he would prefer to be the only dog and have all of your attention. He knows sit and stay and recognizes the words walk, ball, play and eat. Eating is one of his favorite things!
