Meet Lexi 💕

Lexi is as cute as they come! This adorable little girl is estimated to be about 8 weeks old and appears to be a Beagle mix. She has the sweetest muted coloring and the most charming wispy, fuzzy fur that gives her a unique look—think "fuzzy Beagle!" While we can't say for certain what breeds make up her family tree, one thing is certain: she's absolutely irresistible.

Lexi's story began when a local shelter took her in. Unfortunately, the shelter doesn't have an adoption program, so they reached out to our wonderful foster in St. Louis to see if she could help. Thankfully, she asked us and we were able to say yes! We gave her the name Lexi as she begins her new life and starts her journey toward finding the loving forever family she deserves.

Like any young puppy, Lexi is curious, playful, and ready to discover the world. She'll need a patient family that understands all the joys and challenges of raising a puppy, including house training, basic manners, socialization, and plenty of love.

Because she's still so young, Lexi is looking for a home with a resident dog who can be her playmate, role model, and best friend. She'll also need a securely fenced yard where she can safely enjoy all the puppy zoomies, explore, and burn off her endless energy.

Lexi has not been tested with children or cats. However, given her young age, we believe she may do well with either if she grows up in a home with them and is introduced appropriately.

Before heading to her forever home, Lexi will receive her age-appropriate puppy vaccinations, be fecal tested, and be microchipped. When she is old enough, she will also be spayed, ensuring there are no future puppies in her future.

Lexi is ready for a lifetime of adventures, cuddles, and unconditional love. If you're looking for an adorable puppy to grow up alongside your family—and have a canine sibling waiting to show her the ropes—Lexi may be the perfect addition to your home.

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
