Lexington needs a home where people are home most of the time. He wants to be held, sit on your lap, and get lots and lots of fuss. He lives with two larger dogs but needs his people to keep him calm. Lexington would love a family that is home most of the day; perhaps a work from home family or retired folks. He is not looking for a high energy doggie friend. A home where he gets all the attention or perhaps with an older dog that is low energy would be best. He has never lived with a cat though he does like to bark at them through the window so perhaps a cat free home is best. Lexington has lived in apartments with a small outside area but once you leave he will bark so perhaps a home with a fenced yard is ideal. His current family finds it best to have him crated when they leave. Lexington has not lived with children but loves attention from everyone. Children that are not dog savvy will probably scare him and he will hide under something to get away. Perhaps children 5+ would be best. Giving him up has been a very hard decision but they feel Lexington will be so much happier with a new family that has more time to lavish him with attention.
