Meet Lilly, the sweet, spunky beagle looking for her perfect match.
Lilly is a 4-year-old beagle girl with the heart and energy of a 6-month-old. After lovingly raising her five beautiful puppies, this little momma is finally ready for a home of her own, one with plenty of patience, love, and room for zoomies.
Lilly is a total love bug who lives for belly rubs and cuddle time. Once she gets to know you, her gentle, affectionate side shines. She can be a little skittish at first and is wary of some men, but with kindness and consistency she warms up beautifully. She absolutely adores kids, adults, and other dogs, and she even gets along with the resident cat.
This bright, silly girl has a mischievous streak too! Lilly is an escape artist – pens and gates are merely suggestions in her beagle brain. She also loves to dig, stash food and bones around the house, and hide treasures in the corners of furniture. When playtime comes around, she’s all in: she hoards toys, plays rough, and has a signature move of flipping toys (especially tennis balls) into the air and chasing them full-speed. Outdoors, she unleashes her inner rocket and does joyful zoomies around the yard. While Lilly enjoys walks, she is not a fan of rain – classic beagle attitude. She does enjoy running through snow and stopping to have a few bites. She is kennel trained and partially potty trained, so continued structure and guidance will help her thrive.
Lilly is looking for someone who understands that although she’s 4, she behaves very much like a puppy who’s still learning about the world. She needs patience, consistency, and a sense of humor – but the love and loyalty she gives back are immeasurable.
Lilly is spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccines.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
