I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My name is Lucy, and my foster Mom says I am one of the prettiest girls she has seen! Must be my beautiful coat/soft ears and my adorable smile. I weigh about 25 pounds and I am about 2 years old.

I am a beagle through and through! I love to play with other dogs and I am learning about how fun it is to have toys. I do have the beagle bay and will alert you if I see someone. Sometimes, when I am just having fun playing, I will bay. I am doing well with picking up on my house training with treats. Oh Boy, do I love treats!!!!  I am also doing well with my crate training. My foster Mom puts me in one when she has to go to work. I will make noise at first, but then I will settle down, as I know she will be coming back. Mom will give me something to do in my crate as well, a chewie or a Kong.

I ride nicely in the car and would love to be your adventure buddy. I am learning about this leash thing but having another dog to follow helps my confidence. I am a seasoned traveler. My family in Missouri surrendered me to a shelter because I love to get in the trash! Then my first foster mom found me and contacted Seattle Beagle Rescue. After my vaccines and spay, a lot of nice people drove me to Minnesota to my current foster and I am waiting for my first airplane ride to Seattle.

After I have had my exercise/play time I would love to hang out and snuggle up with you (my foster Mom says I excel at snuggles). We could watch a movie together or I could help you read a good book. Maybe even one about a Dog Super Hero! A canine brother or sister would be great for playing and hanging out. A fenced yard to get my zoomies in would be ideal. I look forward to meeting you and finding my own wonderful loving forever home where I can smile every day. I will find your heart and grab hold and not let go. ❤️

We have no information regarding cats. We have not observed Lucy with children but her foster mom thinks she is sweet and gentle and would be fine with gentle and respectful children.
