Mo’ Penny’s luck has changed and she will never again need to worry about her next meal or where she will sleep. Mo is currently with a foster home in Missouri, heading to Seattle  in a few weeks. Here is Mo’s story as shared by her foster mom: "This girl’s name is Mo’Penny. Her dad was a homeless man, train jumper, and she was used as a means at various stops to get more money… hence the name Mo’Penny. Her dad has since been locked up for an extended amount of time, and the friend who was left to care for Mo’Penny was going to either let her loose or send her to a shelter if rescue placement wasn’t quickly found. Mo'Penny was extremely thin when I picked her up and the guy said she will attack any food she sees anywhere and expressed I take extreme caution to make sure anything not truly edible is up out of her reach. Thanks to an amazing donor who knew her situation and condition she was able to see the vet quickly for some initial care, vaccines and heartworm test. It became obvious at the vet that she loves men more than woman because she was super attentive to every thing the doc asked her to do. Help us find Mo a home where she will be loved and treated like a princess. She’s friendly and intelligent. Mo’Penny weighs 26.8 pounds and is estimated to be about 5 years old. Mo gets along with the other dogs in her foster home."

There is no information on Mo with kids or cats. We do not yet have a date for travel, but if you are interested in learning more about Mo, please complete an Adoption Application and an Adoption Counselor will reach out to you.
