đ¸ Meet Nancy â A Sweet Soul Ready for Her Forever Home! đ¸
Nancy is a beautiful 10-month-old tricolor merle beagle with a heart as gentle as her eyes. Rescued from a puppy mill auction with the help of the amazing Operation Frodo team, Nancy is now learning what it means to be loved, safe, and truly home.
Her foster says Nancy is absolutely wonderful! Sheâs learning the good life on a peaceful farm, where she enjoys riding on the Kubota, going for calm walks on a leash, and snuggling up for some serious lap dog time. Nancy is a huge cuddlerâif you're on the couch, she wants to be right there with you.
Though timid at first (a result of her puppy mill past), Nancy is showing more confidence every day. Sheâs been doing well with house training but still needs a consistent routine and lots of patient encouragement.
Children 10+ only (toddlers are too overwhelming for her).
She currently lives with another beagle and a larger dogâshe gets along well with both and would likely thrive in a home with another calm canine friend. That said, her foster believes she would do just fine as an only dog, too.
She has shown no interest in cats or bunnies so far, but her curiosity may grow as she settles in.
Horses? No problem! She shares her foster home with them and isnât phased one bit.
Nancy does well in the car, enjoys peaceful farm life (but is always on leash when not in a secured area), and most of allâshe just wants to love and be loved. Sheâs a little shy, yesâbut her heart is wide open for the right family to show her the world is a safe, happy place.
If youâre looking for a loyal, gentle, affectionate companion who will blossom with time and care, Nancy might be your perfect match. Sheâs ready to leave her past behind and start a new chapterâwith you. She has been spayed, microchipped and up to date on all her vaccines.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect â they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
