A few things to know about Opal: Super loving and incredibly snuggly Loves toys and chew bones Has recently discovered that swimming is lots of fun! Uses the doggie door Can be trusted to free roam in the house without causing damage Prefers sleeping in bed with her people and is an excellent snuggle buddy Is becoming more comfortable meeting new people, especially when she sees her foster family and canine friends welcoming them Would love a yard where she can run and play Would enjoy a dog friend her size or smaller, but could also be happy as an only dog Best with children around 7 and older, since her enthusiastic puppy energy can sometimes get her underfoot!
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
