I'm ready for my new family!

Hi! My Name Is Pixy

I'm Available
Meet Pixy: The Sweetest Pup on the Block!

Pixy is a tiny, 13-week-old puppy (age estimate as of 9/17) who is ready to bring a burst of sweetness into her forever home. This resilient little girl was originally found as a stray, but a kind lady safely cared for her for a month before Pixy moved to our amazing foster home in St. Louis. Now, she is officially on the road to her happily ever after. Pixy recently had surgery to fix a cherry eye condition and is healing beautifully. She weighs a portable 15.2 pounds, was spayed on September 16, and has already completed her first round of vaccines. She is scheduled for her final boosters on September 23, which means she will be completely cleared to fly to her forever home in the Pacific Northwest around September 30.

True to her candy name, Pixy Stiks is bright, vibrant, and incredibly playful, but she also has a major sweet side and absolutely loves to snuggle up with her humans. She thoroughly enjoys the company of other dogs and gets along wonderfully with canine companions. Because she is still at such a young and impressionable age, she will likely be good around kids and cats with proper introductions, though she has not been officially tested around either just yet.

As a growing puppy, Pixy will thrive best in a home with a secure yard to run around and explore safely. She needs a family where people are around more often than not to help with puppy routines, house training, and socialization. Having another playful, confident dog in the household is also highly recommended so she can have a friend to show her the ropes and keep up with her puppy energy. As she continues to settle into her St. Louis foster care and we learn more about her, we will update her profile.

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
