Potts was rescued from a city kill pound in South Korea and moved into a foster home the week of May 8th in Korea. While there he can relax to show us his true personality. He really needs a person and family of his own in the Pacific Northwest. Potts is very friendly with people and great with other beagles, but doesn't need another dog friend as he really isn't interested in playing with other dogs. He has high energy and has the typical beagle personality! He loves playing with toys and showing his belly for pets. Potts had heartworm and an aural hematoma when rescued, but both have been treated and he is medically cleared. Potts is a favorite because he is so happy and cannot stop wagging his tail. Potts wants to chase after cats on his walks, so a no cat home is best. He is currently living with kids and doing well. He seems to have learned all about housetraining and now waits until walks to potty. His separation anxiety is much better at this point and only whines a bit, no barking or howling. He may need reminders on this and potty training after his transition to a new home.
