I've found my furever family!

Hi! My Name Is Rambo

We're happy to tell you that Rambo has a new furever home.
Please visit our Available Dogs Page to see the pups currently available.

Rambo is looking for his forever home! We think he is a beagle basset mix, but without a DNA it is all a guess for this good looking boy. He is good with dogs, but we don't know anything about cats or kids. He did get very excited when he heard the vet office cat meowing. Rambo walks well on a leash, is house trained when he learns the routine (but he has no obvious alert yet for potty breaks) and he is quiet in his kennel. He’s a chill guy, a bit shy initially. He always has to be shoved up next to his foster with his face squeezed between her and the couch as she tries to get computer work done. So he is a snuggler! He’s finally started playing with squeaky toys, not with other dogs really but by himself. He initially acted like he couldn’t walk up steps or jump into/out of the car. He’s finally climbing on the couch and handling steps just fine.

He gives a real good side eye if you try grabbing his collar. Leash or a sliplead - no issues at all. But grab his collar and he freezes and gives a side eye like he’s terrified. Sweeping with a broom is also a terrifying time for Rambo. He recently was around the broom cleaning up and he looked terrified!!! Poor Rambo squashed down and peed so there may have been some abuse in his past.

He has been neutered, microchipped and up to date on his vaccines. Rambo will be traveling to Seattle soon and needs a family to call his own upon arrival. Would you give him is forever home?
