Meet Rodger, a sweet and loving pup who was saved from a shelter that was running out of space and facing the possibility of euthanasia. Lucky for Rodger, SBR stepped in and promised to help him find his forever home in the beautiful Pacific Northwest!
Rodger is a younger-aged dog with a heart full of love, ready to share it with a new family. He’s a snuggle bug who thrives on hugs, cuddles, and spending time with anyone who will give him attention. The vet believes he’s around 2 years old and he weighs 24.4 pounds. He’s heartworm negative and also negative for tick-borne diseases—great news for his future health!
Rodger will be neutered, receive vaccine boosters, be microchipped, and undergo a fecal test on February 19. He’s a total sweetheart, but his foster family has learned that he tends to mark every spot without a belly band. While they attempted to let him roam freely without one, it’s still a work in progress—hopefully, neutering will help. Until then, his future family may need to use belly bands to keep things tidy while he learns better habits.
Rodger is ready to find a loving home where he can share his affection and enjoy a fresh start. Could your home be the one he’s been waiting for?
