I'm ready for my new family!

Little Miss Ruby came from a terrible situation in rural Kentucky.  It was so bad that the owner eventually went to jail.  Ruby and Eve were among the rescued pups and are now flourishing with a foster in Virginia.  Ruby is completed vetted and will soon be spayed.  She has been gaining some much-needed weight (currently she is 19 pounds).  Ruby would love to have a companion dog to play with.  Ruby is good with kids.  Cats are questionable; she barks at the foster’s cat whenever their paths cross.  We will add updates as we learn more about her personality.

Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.

We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
