Meet Sarah Jane – A Sweet Survivor Looking for Her Forever Home!

Sarah Jane’s story is one of resilience and love. Found as a stray, this tiny but mighty dog was pregnant and about to face a challenging journey. Despite her small size, Sarah Jane gave birth to a beautiful litter of nine large Great Pyrenees puppies. It was an incredibly tough time for such a petite mama, but she handled it with grace. Now, all her babies have gone to wonderful rescues, and Sarah Jane is ready to find her own loving family.

At about 3 years old, Sarah Jane is ready for her new chapter. Don't let her initial photos fool you; she’s much smaller than she appears. At just 18.4 pounds on March 11, 2025, Sarah Jane is a pocket-sized bundle of joy. She’s incredibly sweet, loving, and full of affection. All she wants is attention, cuddles, and a safe home where she can be spoiled with the care she deserves.

Sarah Jane is heartworm negative and has tested positive for Ehrlichia, a tick-borne illness, but she’s receiving treatment and doing well in her foster home out of state. On March 26, she will be spayed, receive a Bordetella vaccine, a fecal test, microchip, rabies vaccine, and one month of preventatives to ensure she’s in great health.

Sarah Jane is an absolute sweetheart who craves attention and is happiest when cuddling with her human. She’s affectionate, loyal, and loves being the center of attention. She would thrive in a home where someone is home most of the time, as she loves being close to her people. A family that can provide her with plenty of love and attention would be ideal.

At this time, there is no information available regarding how Sarah Jane interacts with kids or cats. Her current foster thinks Sarah Jane would be totally happy as the one and only royal pup in the house, but she's also totally cool with sharing the spotlight if you've got other furry friends!
