Meet Sherman! 🐾
Sherman is a 4.5-year-old owner surrender who came with a wealth of historical vet records. This adorable, short, and round boy has a heart of gold and is described as a love bug through and through. He’s currently on a weight loss journey—he came in at 40.6 lbs and has already dropped to 36.8 lbs (as of 11/22), but he still needs to shed a few more pounds to be at his healthiest.
Sherman is great with dogs and kids, making him an excellent family companion. He’s also totally unbothered by cats—even a cat who swatted him in the face didn’t phase him! Despite his laid-back nature, Sherman does have his quirks. He came with a blanket he’s had his whole life and was understandably upset when his current foster washed it. He’s a creature of comfort and familiarity!
Sherman is heartworm and Lyme disease negative, up-to-date on all vaccines, microchipped, and even had a dental cleaning for grade 2 disease. This chunky boy is also a bit of a snow-avoider—he’s not a fan of the cold weather and refused to go back out in the snow after his first experience this morning.
Sherman is set to travel on 12/13, pending weather conditions, and is ready to find his forever home. If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, and low-maintenance companion, Sherman might just be the perfect fit for you!
