Good with other dogs, he thrives in a social setting and loves to play. He’s also great with kids (over 8 please in case he gets excited and jumps a bit) and, in his previous foster home, he ignored the cat (what a good boy!). He does well with house training but might have a little regression on rainy days—who doesn't, right? He's been working on his leash skills, though he pulls a bit (probably never walked much before), so he'll need a patient owner to work on that with him.
This beagle boy is a bit of a chewer, likely because of his age, and can be a sneaky garbage raider, so he'll need some supervision (or a sturdy crate when you leave the house). He’s crate-trained, but doesn’t love sleeping in one at night—he much prefers the couch, and honestly, who can blame him? He was a total sweetie at the groomer and on trips to the vet, always so accepting and gentle. He’s been neutered, vaccinated (DHPP, Bordetella, Rabies), and a negative fecal & heartworm test. He’s also Lyme positive, but don’t worry—he was treated with medication and doing great!
He's ready for a home that can match his playful spirit. Whether it’s with another dog or an active family, he’ll fit right in. If you’re ready to add this bundle of joy to your life, we’d love to hear from you. He's in foster care and will stay there until adopted, so if you’re ready to adopt, let’s get that application in! He’s sweet, he’s happy, and he’s just waiting for the right home to call his own.
