PENDING ADOPTION!
Meet Turner 🐾
Turner is about 2 years old, neutered, and up-to-date on his vaccinations. His current foster in the Midwest thinks he is a GREAT dog!! He likes other dogs, especially other beagles (no surprise!). He would enjoy being part of a pack. Turner should not be in a home with cats or small critters, as he had been a hunting dog and has a strong prey drive. That said, he has met a cat since being rescued. While not aggressive, he did get super excited and began to bay. Secure fencing will be a must.
In the house, Turner can be gentle and pretty quiet, although squealing toddlers might not be a good fit. He doesn’t jump on people very much. He settles down well and sleeps through the night. He has had zero accidents in his crate and is vocal when he needs to go out to potty.
Experiencing an indoor lifestyle has been a new and exciting adventure for Turner. He likes to explore his surroundings thoroughly. He doesn’t mind attention from people and will take offered treats gently.
Are you ready for some fun with an energetic, sweet pup? Then you might be a perfect match for Turner.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
