Meet Turner 🐾
Turner was found as a stray in Boone County, West Virginia, and is now safe with a local foster family while he begins his next chapter. We believe Turner is around 2 years old. He was recently neutered and vaccinated in early May and is settling into foster care nicely.
So far, Turner has shown himself to be good with kids (ages 4-14) and other dogs. He is heartworm negative, which is wonderful news, and he is currently being treated with doxycycline for tick-borne conditions.
Turner is still decompressing and learning what it means to be part of a family, so we are continuing to get to know his personality. As we learn more about him, we’ll keep updating his profile with new information.
We’re excited to watch this sweet boy blossom in foster care and can’t wait to help him find the loving forever home he deserves. ❤️
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
