Meet Ziggy – The Ultimate Snuggle Bug with a Big Personality!
Ziggy is an absolute lovebug who wants nothing more than to be as close to you as physically possible. Sweet, silly, and full of energy, she’s the kind of pup who will steal your heart—and then your lap—before you know it.
This 1-year-old, 17.8 lb sweetheart is crate trained at night and when left alone. She’s still working on potty training (with the occasional excited piddle), but she's making steady progress. She adores treats, chew bones, and crinkle toys (seriously, they’re her favorite!). Just don’t expect any stuffed toys to survive—Ziggy’s got a talent for turning them into a fluff explosion in seconds.
When it comes to zoomies, Ziggy is a pro. She’s happiest when she has room to run, so a fully fenced yard is a must—she’s smart and curious and will absolutely look for weak spots to sneak through.
Leash walking? Let’s just say Ziggy has her own ideas. Sometimes she’ll walk a bit… then sit down, stare at you sweetly, and ask to be carried (complete with adorable pounce-jumps into your arms). Then she’ll walk again for a bit, and repeat. With some patience and training, she’ll get there—but expect a bit of comedy along the way!
Ziggy is good with kids we have been told (no first hand observations), plays well with other dogs, and while we’re unsure about cats, she’s shown a friendly, playful nature with everyone she meets.
She’s looking for an active, patient family who can help her grow and thrive—with plenty of time for cuddles, crinkle toys, and fun.
Ready to add some Zoomies + Snuggles energy to your life? Ziggy is here in the PNW and ready for you!
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
