Meet Zoe – A Very Shy Beagle Looking for Better in Her Forever Home
Zoe is a 2-year-old, 28.6 lb lemon beagle who was released from a breeder situation. She’s had a tough start to life, spending her days in a small wire box, and as a result, she’s a very shy and nervous girl. Despite her past, Zoe has so much potential and deserves to know love, kindness, and the comfort of a real home. She currently weighs 28.6 pounds and is making small strides in her foster home in St. Louis.
Zoe is very shut down right now and will need a patient and understanding family that can help her come out of her shell. She’s very nervous and will need time to adjust to her new life, but with the right environment and gentle care, Zoe will learn to trust and feel safe.
Zoe is currently 4dx negative, meaning she is free from tick-borne diseases and heartworm, and her vaccines, fecal test, microchip, and preventatives will be completed on 3/20/25. She is also scheduled for her spay on 4/9. As we learn more about Zoe’s personality and progress, we will update her post to help her find the perfect forever home.
Zoe likely has had no exposure to kids or cats and will need a confident dog in her next home to help guide her and give her the support she needs. She deserves a life filled with love, patience, and comfort. Her past may have been tough, but it’s time for her to experience the best life ever.
If you think Zoe might be a good fit for your home and you have the patience to help her heal and thrive, please apply to learn more. She’s a sweet girl who just needs the right person to show her what love is all about.
Zoe is currently in a foster home in St. Louis, and we are looking forward to helping her find her forever family where she can finally live the life she truly deserves.
