PENDING ADOPTION!
Meet Zora — a name that means “new dawn” in Slavic — and a beautiful symbol of fresh beginnings and second chances. After raising her final litter of puppies just twelve weeks ago, Zora is finally ready for a new chapter that’s all about her. No more caring for babies; now it’s her turn to be cherished, pampered, and loved in a forever home of her own.
Currently located in West Virginia, Zora is being supported by Seattle Beagle Rescue, which is working closely with local partners to prepare her for travel and her exciting journey ahead. She is scheduled to receive her vaccines, microchip, fecal test, and spay on March 9th, making sure she is fully ready to start this new life healthy and cared for. We also will get an estimate on her age, but we feel she is still a young, energetic beagle.
Zora represents resilience and hope. After giving so much of herself as a devoted mama, she now deserves a family who will shower her with affection, cozy beds, gentle walks, and the simple joy of belonging. As we continue to learn more about her personality, preferences, and all the little quirks that make her special, we’ll share updates to help find the perfect match.
If you believe in new beginnings and have room in your heart and home for a sweet girl ready to shine, Zora may be your dawn.
Please note: Our rescue is foster-based and cannot hold dogs for future adoption due to travel, home renovations, or schedule changes. Adopters must be prepared to welcome their new companion within a reasonable timeframe.
We do our best to ensure every dog is as healthy and prepared as possible, but we ask adopters to understand that rescue dogs may need time to decompress and adjust. They are not perfect — they are simply in need of patience, understanding, and a second chance.
